What is The Terror: Infamy about?

If you loved BBC’s oppressive drama Vigil, you’ll love this new horror series with a twist. Season one of The Terror: Infamy saw crew from Royal Navy explorer ships battle the elements as they tried to free themselves from icy conditions outside and claustrophobic cabin fever inside.

Add a sinister monster-at-large to the mix and you have the makings of a modern-day horror story. It is a massive change of scenery for season two of The Terror: Infamy, which is set in the future in wartime America.

This time Obake, a shapeshifting creature in the form of a woman and vengeful spirit, is the central character. She brings death and destruction to the Nakayama family and wider Japanese-American community.

Who’s who in The Terror: Infamy cast?

Kiki Sukezane plays the character of Yuko Tanabe. She is the shapeshifting Obake who terrorises the Nakayama family in scenes that will leave you clamouring to switch the light on. George Takei plays the character of elder Nobuhiro Yamato. He sounds the warning that the community is being targeted by a supernatural force.

Derek Mio plays the character of Chester Nakayama. Although initially resistant to superstitious beliefs, he ultimately fights supernatural forces after seeing the devastation that unfolds in his family.

Shingo Usami plays the character of Henry Nakayama. He is suspected of being a spy who is also the adoptive father of Chester.

Naoko Mori plays the character of Asako Nakayama. She has strong superstitious beliefs and also hides a deep dark secret.

Cristina Rodlo plays the character of Luz Ojeda. She joins lover Chester and follows him to the internment camp where the horrific action unfolds.
