United States gymnast Simone Biles returns to the Olympic Games, looking to build on her four golds and lead her team to the podium once again. Biles has set the standard in the sport, with five moves (currently) named after her as she is the presumptive favorite to win the all-around gold in Paris.
There will be one highly recognizable fan in the Biles cheering section as her husband, Jonathan Owens — see photos from their wedding here — is making the trip to France. Owens is a player in the NFL, currently signed with the Chicago Bears. Thanks to a waiver from the Bears, Owens was cleared to miss a practice, a walkthrough and the Hall of Fame preseason game against the Houston Texans.
Biles and the squad from the United States get underway at the Olympics on Sunday, July 28.
