After meeting in 2016, Ronaldo has enjoyed a happy and successful life with Georgina and their children. However, the couple recently broke the sad news of the tragic passing of their newborn son, although they vowed that their newborn daughter was giving them “the strength to live."

Who is Georgina Rodriguez?
Georgina Rodriguez is a 28-year-old Spanish dancer and model who has become best known for being the girlfriend of footballing sensation Cristiano Ronaldo. Georgina was born to a Spanish mother and an Argentine father and grew up in Jaca, a city in north eastern Spain and part of the province of Huesca, near the Pyrenees along with her sister, Ivana.
She was a devoted ballerina for most of her young life, before she moved to Madrid to become a luxury sales assistant. After starting out in Massimo Dutti, she quickly transferred to Gucci, where her life drastically changed, in which she went from selling luxury items to wearing Jean Gaultier couture on the red carpet at the Cannes Films Festival.
Her modelling career came about after studying English in London, but since meeting Ronaldo, her life has projected even further and she has even seen the release of her own Netflix show, titled ‘I am Georgina’, which gives an inside look into her life as the partner of the 37-year-old superstar as well as her career business ventures.

How did she meet Ronaldo?
Ronaldo and Georgina have been together for a number of years now but the couple met when the 28-year-old was working in the Gucci store in Madrid back in 2016, when Ronaldo was reportedly a personal shopping client of hers. They then met again shortly after at another brand’s event, before the relationship began to grow steadily.
News of the couple being seen together emerged in November 2016 after they were spotted at Disneyland Paris, despite Ronaldo’s best attempts at disguising himself. However, although it was never officially confirmed by the pair that they were together, it was assumed they were official once they began uploading posts of each other on social media.
Ever since, Georgina has attended the Portugal internationals games at Real Madrid, Juventus, Man Utd and for his national side, while she has also been present alongside his family at big events such as the Ballon d’Or and FIFA award ceremonies.
How many children does she have?
Although Ronaldo has five children, he shares only two of them with the 28-year-old. Georgina gave birth to Alana Martina in November 2017. She later fell pregnant with twins and gave birth to a daughter in April 2022, but the couple revealed in a heartbreaking social media post that their son had tragically died at the hospital.
Despite not being the biological mother to Ronaldo’s first three children, Cristiano Jr and twins, Eva and Mateo, she is very much involved with all of them and the family of seven live a happy life together, where they are all regularly pictured together.
Georgina appears to get along well with Ronaldo’s son, Cristiano Jr, who he has full custody of and cares for with his mother, Dolores. Cristiano Jr is already making a name for himself within Man Utd’s academy, and Georgina is often spotted in executive boxes with him during his father’s games.
