Manchester locals have been popular on reality shows of late but how will Emelle fare in The Circle.
The 31-year-old model will be a 'player' on the second series of the Channel 4 reality show which sees contestants be whoever they want to be in a bid to win £100,000.
And Emelle, who already boasts more than 29,000 Instagram followers, isn't going to be very honest during her time in the plush Salford apartment block.
Although she is playing as herself and using her own "fun, laid-back" pictures, the model has chosen to swap life as a single lesbian for a younger, straight girl.
Emelle will drop seven years off her age as she believes that will make her more popular than playing herself.
Explaining her decision to lie about her sexuality, she said: "Some people can be quite judgey over being gay.
"You get a lot of homophobic people. Girls can sometimes be a little bit funny about getting close in case you might fancy them."
Emelle, who describes herself as confident and young at heart, thinks that playing as a 24-year-old will make her better liked in The Circle.
Speaking about how she will play the game if a relationship begins to emerge, she added: "I'll still be flirty. I could pretend to be in a relationship if it's going to win me the game! But obviously they'd be fuming when I get out and realise I'm gay!"
The Circle's live launch show airs on Tuesday, September 24, at 9.15pm on Channel 4. It will then air at 10pm weeknights from thereafter.
