A Premier League footballer has embarked on a side hustle as a rapper named Dide — but nobody knows who he is.
The masked rapper released a single, Thrill, earlier this month, and has been teasing fans on social media by asking “Who is Dide?”.
He has gained more than 50,000 Instagram followers and his single has been played more than 300,000 times on Spotify.
But football fans everywhere are wondering: Who is Dide?

His website describes Dide as “hailing from the UK,” and wanting to keep his “Premier League football life separate from his evocative music by donning a rose-adorned disguise”.
It says: “While living the luxurious life of a pro-footballer, Dide reveals his depth and complexity through powerful tracks.”
Although unconfirmed, many football fans believe Dide to be Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah.
Nketiah is a 23-year-old Premier League player from London, who has played for Arsenal since the age of 16.
One clue is that Dide is an anagram of Eddi, while another hint is the lyric, “My team stay winning”, which could refer to Arsenal’s spot at the top of the league table.
An Adidas ball in the music video for Thrill also has fans believing that the player, or their team, must be sponsored by the clothing brand.
Plus, Radio 1Xtra DJ Kenny Allstar told BBC Newsbeat: “I’m going to go with the Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah.
“It’s just giving me Nketiah vibes — I think it’s him.”

However, Dide may be signalling that he’s not Nketiah. In his latest Instagram post, he wrote, “It’s about time we think outside of the box,” leading some to believe that he’s not a striker.
The other names that have been suggested by fans include Crystal Palace player Wilfried Zaha and Chelsea player Noni Madueke.
Some fans have their suspicions that the rapper isn’t even a footballer — but a marketing genius.
