Davide Sanclimenti has been confirmed as the first bombshell of Love Island 2022. The contestant is set to make a late arrival at the villa during the first episode of series eight.
The Islander's entrance will come after the couples have already been paired up and is set to ruffle a few feathers. In scenes set to air tonight [Monday, June 6], Davide can be seen reading a text that says: "Davide, in 24 hours you will couple up with a girl of your choice, leaving one boy single and vulnerable #italiansnack #ciaobella."
Davide's arrival will make him the eleventh contestant of the new series, you can see the line-up in full here.

Who is Davide Sanclimenti?
Davide is a business owner from Rome, Italy. Davide now lives in Manchester and says his family and friends would describe him as a "very deep" person with a good heart, who is always ready to support people in their moment in need.
He said: "I think Love Island is going to be so much fun. I'm going to be the Italian stallion in the Villa! With my Italian charm, I can also be a very romantic guy.
"I'm good looking and I've realised since I first arrived in Manchester, a lot of English girls actually love me. They love to be around me and I love to be around them. It’s going to be fun, I’m looking forward to it. I want to find my soulmate, find my person so I can actually build something in the future, grow with them, be a family."

Davide is 27 years old.
