With Kalvin Phillips' departure now seemingly given the green light, Leeds United look to be closing in on their fourth summer signing, with Manchester City man Darko Gyabi strongly tipped to arrive at the club next week.
At just 18, the teenager is rumoured to cost just £5million and helped City's U23 side claim the Premier League 2 title last season. The England U18 star made 11 appearances, scored once and provided three assists with both Arsenal and Wolves also thought to have shown an interest in the midfielder.
Joining from Millwall as a 14-year-old back in 2018, Gyabi will link up with Jesse Marsch squad prior to their upcoming tour of the United States.

The Athletic have reported this deal is in no way tied into Phillips proposed deal and is being negotiated separately. LeedsLive understands Gyabi has long been of interest to Victor Orta with multiple previous enquiries about his availability knocked back.
The City website describes Gyabi as a box-to-box midfielder and Leeds fans may recall him coming on as a substitute in the Premier League 2 match between the clubs in April.
Hoping to making his Premier League debut under Marsch next season, it remains to be seen what the American has planned for the teenager and does fit the bill for the type of player the Whites are trying to recruit across the board.
