Corey Conners has been working with his current bagman Danny Sahl since the start of 2021 after splitting with Kyle Peters, but who is he?
Sahl had previously caddied for 2003 Masters winner Mike Weir before linking up with three-time Major winner Vijay Singh in 2017. The pair had a close partnership, too, with Sahl and Singh even living together at Singh's condo in Ponte Vedra during the Covid-19 pandemic. While those two names alone indicate how highly Sahl's caddying abilities are valued, he is also an accomplished player.

Sahl, who, like Conners, hails from Canada, was a Kent State University star before turning pro in 2001, and he had some success, wtih victory in the 2011 Syncrude Boreal Open on the PGA Tour Canada a career highlight among several other impressive displays, including runner-up at the 2015 ATB Financial Classic.
Eventually, Sahl began focusing on a career in caddying, later reasoning that, "becoming a caddie gave me the chance of staying with the game at its highest level.”
It's certainly helped him do that, and not just working alongside Weir and Singh. Sahl, who is also a hockey fan and supporter of the Edmonton Oilers, helped Conners win his second PGA Tour event in 2023, the Valero Texas Open, while he has also produced three top-10 finishes in Majors while working with him.

That kind of form, along with being generally consistent on the PGA Tour, has ensured Conners has been a virtual ever-present in the world's top 50 for the duration of their time together.
That was a run that continued into 2025 when Conners began knocking on the door of the world's top 20 following some impressive PGA Tour performances, as well as riding high on the Masters leaderboard as the Augusta National Major approached the halfway point.
