Celebrity Lingo on ITV featured Welsh pair, Charlotte Church and Carys Eleri in its third episode and while Charlotte has been a famous face for decades, her partner in quizzing may be a little less familiar to audiences.

Carys' one-woman show, Lovecraft (Not the Sex Shop in Cardiff) was performed at the Edinburgh Festival and around the world, before landing on BBC Radio 4 earlier this year.
It was while performing the show in Edinburgh, Carys, from Tumble near Cross Hands, got the devastating call that her dad, David, Carys' biggest fan, had died from Motor Neurone Disease, spurring the star to cycle from London to Paris, with sister Nia, and raise money for the MND Association. You can read more on this heartbreaking and inspiring time, in Carys' own words, here. In 2021 she released a book, Dod Nôl at fy Nghoed, documenting losing both her dad, and best friend Trystan, within months of each other.
Carys and Charlotte are long-time friends and have performed together for the latter's Late Night Pop Dungeon shows. They appear on Celebrity Lingo on October 2 and are raising money for Charlotte's Awen project, which pioneers new ways of democratic education.
