A woman has claimed to have given birth to Elon Musk’s 13th child and that she was told to keep the baby a secret.
Ashley St Clair made the claims on social media over the weekend and has said that the billionaire Twitter owner has not responded to her since she gave birth five months ago.
Mr Musk has reacted only by tweeting “whoah” in response to an accusation of her allegedly planning this move for five years.
He has now temporarily left social media, although he said this was to focus on the development of Grok 3 - the AI chatbot installed within Twitter.
Here is what we know about Ashley St Clair.

Who is Ashley St Clair?
St Clair is an online influencer who supports Donald Trump’s Make America Great Again (MAGA) rhetoric and regularly posts in support of far-right causes.
Outlets had initially reported that she is 31 but are now stating she is 26. She has an older child from a previous relationship.
She has 10,000 followers on Instagram and 1.1m on Twitter. Recent activity includes calling Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky a “gold digger” and saying that US AID beneficiaries are “living off the deep state slush fund”.
On Saturday she tweeted: “Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father. I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause.
“I intend to allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment. For that reason, I ask that the media honor our child’s privacy, and refrain from invasive reporting.”
It has since been reported it was a baby boy.
She added that she would step away from social media but has since been back online to tweet about Mr Zelensky and make further claims about Mr Musk.
St Clair was angered by another Twitter account suggesting she had plotted this move for five years, to which Mr Musk responded “whoa” - his only comment as such so far.
“Elon, we have been trying to communicate for the past several days and you have not responded,” St Clair wrote. “When are you going to reply to us instead of publicly responding to smears from an individual who just posted photos of me in underwear at 15 years old?”
These responses have now been removed from the site.

If true, the baby would be Mr Musk’s 13th and he has had the previous 12 with three different women. However, there is little evidence to go on with St Clair having not shown that any baby exists or any birth certificate.
“I was told to keep it secret. I was being asked to keep it a secret forever,” she told the New York Post.
“I was completely isolated during my pregnancy. Every part of my career and everything I used to do I couldn’t do anymore. I was told not to tell anybody.”
She claimed in the interview that the two met in May 2023 when Mr Musk messaged her on Twitter. The pair met up and had a low-key romance, meeting in Rhode Island. But things changed, she said, when she became pregnant.
“I was told to keep it secret. I was being asked to keep it a secret forever,” she said.
Ms St Clair has not named the “tabloid” outlet that was said to be set to out her.
Her representative said: “We are waiting for Elon to publicly acknowledge his parental role with Ashley, to end unwarranted speculation, and Ashley trusts that Elon intends to finish their agreement quickly, in the best interests of the wellbeing and security of the child they share.”
