Adam Driver is currently starring in Netflix sensation Marriage Story, alongside superstar cast member Scarlett Johansson.
Driver is best known for playing Kylo Ren in Star Wars, but also has a number of other acting credits to his name such as BlacKkKlansman, Inside Llewyn Davis and Silence.
The Hollywood actor has been married to Joanne Tucker since 2013. Tucker is also an actor and has appeared in HBO's Girls, Zero Days and 2019's The Report.
But who is Adam Driver's wife Joanne Tucker? Here's what you need to know about her marriage to Star Wars actor Adam Driver.
Where did Adam Driver meet Joanne Tucker?
Adam Driver and Joanne Tucker met after he was medically discharged from the Marines for dislocating his sternum while mountain biking.
Driver, who enlisted in the army after the September 11 attacks, met Tucker at the prestigious Juilliard School in New York.
A notoriously private couple, the pair got married in secret in 2013, with only select few people invited to their wedding.
While neither of them talk much about their relationship in the press it seems Tucker, 36, has managed to teach her husband about the finer things in life.
In an interview with Broadway.com Driver, who was born in San Diego and raised in Indiana, said: "She taught me what Gouda cheese is, and that you shouldn’t talk with your mouth full and spit on the sidewalk.”
Has Adam Driver got a son?
The couple have been together since 2013, and are so intent on secrecy they managed to keep the birth of their son, who is now three, quiet for two years.
Driver told the New Yorker that keeping the birth secret was a "military operation," before adding: "My job is to be a spy—to be in public and live life and have experience. But, when you feel like you’re the focus, it’s really hard to do that.”
Is Joanne Tucker an actor?
Tucker herself is an actor, and also appeared on the HBO show Girls with Driver. Together the pair, who have a Rottweiler-pit bull cross called Moose, founded Arts in the Armed Foces, a non-profit organisation which performs theatre for active duty service members, veterans, military support staff and their families all around the world.
Tucker has appeared in a number of shows and films, such as Zero Days, Prohibition and the Roosevelts, and lives with Driver in Brooklyn Heights.
Here she is talking about why she wanted to be an actor and why she attended the Juilliard School:
While the pair are fairly low-key, they are keen to show their support for Arts in the Armed Services, judging by this twitter picture taken five years ago.
