Who Hibs can draw in UEFA Youth League as young Hibees get set for European adventure

Hibs will find out who their youngsters will face in their first UEFA Youth League fixture of the season on Wednesday.

It's the first time the Easter Road Club have played in this competition since it began in 2013. 64 competing teams are split into the Champions League path and the domestic champions path, both of which begin in September. It's the latter where Hibs are involved, as these teams are the domestic champions from the highest ranked entering associations whose senior side have not qualified for the first stage, which mirrors the senior Champions League.

Hibs U18s won their league last year and their path is a straight knockout qualifying route that involves two rounds before a play-off with one of the UEFA Champions League Group runners-up's. They enter at Round One and fixtures will be played on September 14th and October 5th to see if they can progress.
