Who has Joe Goldberg killed in You? From Beck to Jasper, here's every victim from season 1 and 2

It's safe to say that Joe Goldberg has been one busy son of a gun these last few years - killing a whopping eight people in total since You first arrived on Netflix in 2018.

Yes, Penn Badgley's character is book-smart and easy on the eye, but he's also a serial killer and in season two alone, he murdered an impressive three people.

For those who may have forgotten (let's face it, it's hard to keep track), here's every single person that Joe/Will has murdered in You so far...

Joe's new obsession in season 2 is Love Quinn (Netflix)

Season 1

1. Benji

(Netflix)

Beck's former love interest Benji proved to be harder to shake off than Joe first anticipated.

In the end, Joe lured Benji to the bookstore's basement under false pretences, before smacking him over the head and imprisoning him in the glass cage where he keeps precious books.

After keeping Benji in the cage for some time, Joe eventually decides to kill him and burns his remains in the woods.

He also removes Benji's teeth and hides them in his weird-ass box of trophies - only for Beck to discover them in his apartment. Yikes.

2. Peach Salinger

(Netflix)

Who will see past Joe's charm? Peach.

She also bounces back after Joe initially hit her on the head with a rock in Central Park.

Sadly, our queen died for real at the end of season one, at her family's home in Greenwich.

Joe shoots her just after Beck leaves the holiday home, then writes a fake suicide note to cover his tracks. That said, he did leave a jar of urine on the side...just sayin'.

3. Elijah

(Netflix)

Who? Ya know, the guy that Joe's ex Candace cheated on him with.

Technically Elijah was one of Joe's first victims, but viewers only learn this in a flashback towards the end of the first series.

In said flashback, we see an enraged Joe push Elijah off a tall building in New York, before rocking up at the evil bookstore owner's home for help.

4. Ron

(Netflix)

Coming to the aid of any troubled youth, Joe feels it's his duty to protect his neighbour Claudia's son, Paco.

At first his actions seem legit and it's one of his biggest redeeming features.

However, we soon realise Joe is creating a mini-me, as they both kill Paco's abusive stepdad, Ron.

It's also after this that Paco runs away from Beck, who is pleading with him to open the door to the bookstore cellar. Had he done so, she probably would still be alive now.

5. Beck

(Netflix)

Speaking of Beck, she transitioned from the object of Joe's obsession to the victim of his crimes, as he trapped her in the same glass cage Benji was locked up in.

While things looked as though they may work out for Beck after she managed to escape and trap Joe in the cell, he soon managed to overpower her and (we're guessing from her ghost in season two) strangle her to death.

He then pinned her murder on her therapist, using Beck's Bluebeard-inspired story to lead cops to his door.

Season 2

6. Jasper

We're not gonna lie, we're not so fussed on Joe killing this dude, as he was seriously psychotic.

That said, the manner in which Joe disposed of his body was shocking to say the least; in a strange, vomit-inducing montage, viewers saw Joe cut up Jasper's body, before feeding into a mincing machine at work - all while Love Quinn is preparing actual meat and a blackberry pie that closely resembles Jasper's innards. Yum.

Jasper was after the real Will Bettlheim (whose identity Joe stole), after he swindled him out of $50,000 and refused to provide him with a fake ID.

Not having met the real Will in person, Jasper then chops off Joe's finger tip and threatens him if he doesn't come up with the goods.

Backed into a corner, Joe decides the only way out is to murder Jasper.

7. Henderson

(Netflix)

As well as being a famous comedian, Henderson is revealed to be an abuser of underage girls.

It's Joe's neighbour, Delilah, who unveils the truth about the celebrity, as she recalls a memory of her being assaulted aged 17.

Joe then breaks into Henderson's home in an attempt to force a confession out of him on tape.

It doesn't go to plan, though, and Joe ends up pushing Henderson down the stairs.

8. His mum's abuser

(Netflix)

Season two of You not only covers new ground and introduces a new cast list, it also grant viewers access to Joe's miserable past.

In one flashback, we see Joe's mum being abused by her husband (who is possibly Joe's father, as well).

Young Joe then steps in, shooting and killing the man in a bid to save his mother.

Other people killed in season 2

We may have thought Love Quinn was the breath of fresh air Joe Goldberg needed to start afresh, but in reality she turned out to be just as cray cray.

While they're not Joe's victims, here are the other characters that die in You series two...

1. Love and Forty's childhood nanny

(Netflix)

In an early episode, it is revealed that Love's twin brother Forty was abused and sexually assaulted by their nanny.

At first, we're led to believe that it is Forty who killed the nanny in retaliation, but eventually Love confesses it was her who slit the minder's throat.

2. Delilah

(Netflix)

After discovering Joe's LA neighbour in his cage at the storage unit, Love steps in to protect her despicable partner.

She kills the journalist in the hopes that Joe's secrets remain that way.

3. Candace

(Netflix)

She may have survived Joe, but his ex Candace was no match for Love Quinn.

Inviting the kitchen manager to Joe's storage unit where she's caged Joe next to Delilah's dead body, Candace hopes to convince Love she's better off without the psycho.

Of course, Candace doesn't know that Love was actually the one who killed Delilah, so isn't prepared when Quinn attacks her with a knife.

4. Forty

(Netflix)

Back at the yuppie LA grocery store named Anavrin (Nirvana spelt backwards), Forty holds Joe at gunpoint.

A police officer then mistakenly shoots Forty, believing he really killed Henderson and Delilah.
