Who Do Manchester City Face In Next 5 Premier League Fixtures?

Manchester City need to close a nine point gap on Liverpool to win the title – but who do the Cityzens face in their next five Premier League fixtures?

Pep Guardiola’s side have endured their most difficult run in history during the opening stages of the 2024/25 campaign – losing four consecutive league matches.

The champions ended this run with a convincing win over Nottingham Forest, as the returning Kevin De Bruyne contributed with a goal and an assist in a 3-0 victory.

This result chopped the gap between City and Liverpool to nine points, as Arne Slot’s side continue to hold their post at the top of the table.

Liverpool’s form has seen them move to favourites to win the Premier League on UK betting sites, ending City’s run of four consecutive titles.

The festive period could prove crucial for Manchester City and we have looked into their next five Premier League fixtures before 2025.

Manchester City’s Next Five Premier League Fixtures

  • Saturday 7th December 2024: Crystal Palace vs Manchester City (3pm)
  • Sunday 15th December 2024: Manchester City vs Manchester United (4:30pm)
  • Saturday 21st December 2024: Aston Villa vs Manchester City (12:30pm)
  • Thursday 26th December 2024: Manchester City vs Everton (12:30pm)
  • Sunday 29th December 2024: Leicester City vs Manchester City (2:30pm)

Pep Guardiola’s side travel to the capital in their next Premier League match, as they face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park – with the Eagles looking to move away from the relegation zone.

Oliver Glasner’s side picked up a vital victory in a relegation six-pointer against Ipswich last time around and can move six points clear from the bottom three with a win over City.

City then face a huge clash in the Premier League just a week later, as the champions welcome Manchester United in the infamous derby day.

Ruben Amorim suffered his first defeat in the Premier League against Arsenal, but the United boss did beat the Premier League champions 4-1 during his final Champions League match as Sporting Lisbon manager.

Manchester City then have two fixtures in a matter of days, travelling to Villa Park before facing Everton at home on Boxing Day.

City were beaten in their last away clash against Aston Villa and can not afford another slip-up if they want to catch Liverpool.

Arsenal are also looking to catch Liverpool and we looked into the Gunners’ next five league fixtures, with Arteta going for his first Premier League title.

Finally, the champions will travel to another relegated-threatened side in their final league game of 2025, as City face Leicester at the King Power.

Ruud Van Nistelrooy got off to a winning start as Leicester manager by beating West Ham 3-1 and will be hoping to halt his former rivals title chances.
