Who are the favourites to win the NFL 2024 Super Bowl? Chiefs, Bills, 49ers and Bengals odds

Anticipation continues to build ahead of the 2023 NFL season.

The Kansas City Chiefs will be looking to defend the Vince Lombardi Trophy after a 38-35 defeat of the Philadelphia Eagles in February. Mahomes' men won their second Super Bowl trophy in three years and their third overall in Arizona with Mahomes putting up 182 yards, scoring three touchdowns and completing 21 of 27 pass attempts.

Having beaten the San Francisco 49ers in Miami in February 2020 to win their first Super Bowl since 1969, the Chiefs will be looking to create a Tom Brady and Patriots-esque dynasty with Mahomes, arguably the NFL's best quarterback, at the helm. The Chiefs have been Super Bowl regulars since Mahomes was drafted in 2017, appearing in the 2021 Super Bowl where they were beaten by Brady's Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

"I'm not going to say dynasty...yet," Mahomes said after winning Super Bowl 57 in February. "We’re not done yet."

There was concern that without Tyreek Hill, who was traded to the Miami Dolphins last year, that the Chiefs would have to 'rebuild' during the 2023 season but Mahomes and his players emphatically proved that would not be the case.

"Before we started this season, the AFC West said we were rebuilding," Mahomes said.

"I’ll be honest with you, I don’t know what rebuilding means. In our rebuilding year, we’re world champs. This is just the beginning."

Unsurprisingly, the Chiefs are the favourites to win Super Bowl 58 with bookmaker SkyBet pricing them at 5/1 to retain the Vince Lombardi Trophy and 7/2 to reach the Super Bowl.

The Buffalo Bills, led by Josh Allen, are 8/1 as are the San Francisco 49ers with the Cincinnati Bengals and Eagles both 9/1.

The odds start to lengthen with the Dallas Cowboys and New York Jets, who continue to be linked with a move for Aaron Rodgers, both 14/1.
