It's not how Wales will have wanted their World Cup to end.
Rob Page's men look to be heading home at the first hurdle, after failing to progress from Group B. Questions will surely be asked of what exactly went wrong in Qatar, but attention for the Red Wall will quickly turn to Euro 2024 in Germany.
Wales have qualified for the last two European Championships and will be hopeful of doing so again this time around, although they face a tricky task in qualifying from Group D.
Who else is in Group D?
Croatia, Armenia, Turkey and Latvia are all waiting for Wales in the qualifying group.
When are Wales next playing?
Wales will next be in action when they kick off their Euro 2024 campaign. They do so away to Croatia on March 25, 2023.
