A bus hit a pedestrian in Whitechapel on Tuesday, forcing a major road to be closed.
The collision on Cambridge Heath Road on Tuesday morning left a pedestrian injured, who was rushed to an east London hospital.
However, their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing, a Met Police spokesperson said.
The road was closed while police responded to the scene but has since reopened as of 2pm.
The collision happened near to Darling Row, which is close to Whitechapel Station.
Buses 106 and 254 were also diverted as a result of the crash.
A Met spokesperson said: “Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 10:53hrs on Tuesday, 18 June to reports of a road traffic collision in Cambridge Heath Road, E1.
“Officers and the LAS attended and found a bus in collision with a pedestrian.
“They were taken to an east London hospital where their injuries were deemed not life-threatening or life-changing.
“No arrests have been made.”
