This initiative was inspired by the successful 'Win With Black Women' Zoom call, which saw an impressive turnout of thousands of Black women rallying behind Harris.

Elizabeth Minnella highlighted the incredible response from Black women, with 44,000 organizing a call within just eight hours of Vice President Harris announcing her candidacy. The momentum from this support prompted the 'White Women: Answer the Call 2024' fundraising effort.

Notable figures who participated in the call included Rep. Lizzie Fletcher, Rep. Elissa Slotkin, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, singer Pink, soccer icon Megan Rapinoe, and actress Connie Britton. Megan Rapinoe expressed the historic significance of supporting a Black woman for office, emphasizing the opportunity to be part of an unprecedented moment in history.
