Police are keen to trace potential witnesses to an attack which left a man with serious injuries.
The victim was approached on Spenser Street, Bootle, by a man he did not know, dressed all in black and wearing a face covering. He was attacked, causing a serious head injury, before the suspect then left the scene on the victim's bike.
Officers say the incident happened at around 10.40pm on Wednesday, February 8, and that they believe a number of drivers were in the area who could help the investigation. These potential witnesses include a taxi driver and the driver of a white van.
