These 5 white jeans outfits will keep you stylish all summer long

Four white jeans outfits.

White jeans outfits are a warm-weather go-to, endlessly versatile and super chic, whether you're heading to the office, a weekend getaway, or planning your holiday looks, white jeans never fail to impress.

From styling white jeans with relaxed linen shirts and sandals to dressing them up with tailored blazers and kitten heels, they can truly do it all, making them a capsule wardrobe essential. And once you've found the best jeans for your body type, you should consider getting them in every neutral colour, including white.

We've rounded up a mix of white jean styles to suit every taste, from skinny to barrel leg, and we've considered various occasions to ensure all your white jeans dilemmas are answered.

5 white jeans outfits to try for summer 2025

Styling white jeans outfits shouldn't feel daunting; see it as an opportunity to mix more colour into your wardrobe, as every hue pops more against white jeans than your basic blue and black hues. Your favourite blouses or t-shirts in colour pop hues look all the more vibrant next to white, while classic Breton stripes become much more powerful when teamed with the light denim.

White jeans have a polished feel to them that can take your weekend wardrobe from low-key to high fashion with minimal effort. And once you nail your white jeans outfit formula, we promise you’ll be wearing them on repeat.

1. Flared white jeans, pastel blouse, & ankle boots

Flared white jeans styled with a chic blouse have an elevated feel that works for both everyday and evening outings. Tuck in the blouse for a flattering silhouette that highlights your waist, and add a sleek blazer when the weather turns to add a more tailored element.

Flared jean silhouettes work on a range of body types, including pear, hourglass, and rectangle shapes, as the wider hem line helps to balance out broader shoulders, bigger busts and creates a narrowed middle.

Try this combination with different colourways; for example, opt for some tan suede boots and a burgundy blouse. Or wear warm-weather pastels, including sage green or butter yellow, with your favourite flared white jeans.

2. Straight leg white jeans, trench coat, flats

If there is one spring outerwear piece that we always need in our style arsenal, it's one of the best trench coats. Brilliantly versatile and wearable from spring through to autumn, soft camel and olive colours make a particularly great match for white denim and create a ‘Parisian chic’ aesthetic that will work just as nicely for the office as it will for a Sunday stroll.

Wear your straight leg jeans with flats such as ballet pumps and add an oversized shirt for added fashion points.

3. White barrel leg jeans, linen shirt & sandals

Barrel leg jeans are having a major style moment this year. Slouchy and laid-back, they're effortlessly cool without trying. What's great about this style is that they pair well with almost anything, from your favourite trainers to flats or wedges.

Try styling white barrel-leg jeans with a linen button-up shirt with a cami underneath and some open-toe sandals. This combination is ideal for the warmer months, when layers are key. To finish, add a luxurious woven leather tote bag, just like this one from Anthropologie.

4. Wide leg white jeans, colourful t-shirt, & trainers

The best wide leg jeans styled with trainers is a timeless outfit formula that never fails to impress. However, with white jeans, we'd recommend you opt for colourful trainer choices, add a vibrant t-shirt into the mix, and you have a seamless ensemble that looks confident and on-trend.

Bold colourful stripes or simple block coloured t-shirts and accessories will all sit beautifully with white denim. For added vibrancy, finish your look with chunky gold rings and a matching necklace.

5. Skinny white jeans, blazer & kitten heels

White skinny jeans are perfect for transitioning from day to evening, especially when styled with a tailored blazer. Think pastels or neutral shades for a smart yet laid-back feel, and add some kitten heels for a directional finish.

You can finish off this outfit with delicate jewellery or a bold clutch bag to take it to the next level.

How to wear white jeans over 50

When it comes to choosing the best jeans for women over 50, white jeans should be considered too. Just find your perfect shape and cut, and then go from there – the above styling tips and tricks apply to women of all ages.

Can you wear white jeans in the autumn and winter?

woman&home's Digital Fashion Editor Caroline Parr gives us her top tips for getting wear out of your white denim all year round: "Wearing white jeans in the spring and summer is a must. It's all about the colours you choose - try pastels or jewel tones. One of the biggest colour trends around right now is buttery yellow. Try styling your white jeans outfits with a yellow blouse or t-shirt. Trainers are always a failsafe option, and white jeans will pair well with linen layers, too."

How to wash your white jeans?

Of course, one major downside of the white jeans is the risk of stains and general dirt ruining your polished denim. It's easier to keep your jeans in tip-top condition than you might expect, though - just take extra care when cleaning them.

When it comes to washing your white jeans, turn them inside out, zip up the fly, and do up any buttons first to help keep their shape. Wash on a low-heat cycle, ensuring there are absolutely no coloured items in the same load. The colour run will either dye your jeans or dull the whiteness. Avoid using bleach or very harsh detergents, too, as this can damage the fabric and can cause jeans to start to yellow over time.

Never pop your jeans in the dryer as this will make them shrink – always air dry.

For pesky stain removal, it's best to act fast. Use household items like hand soap or washing detergent, and gently rub over the area with a sponge or an old toothbrush to lift the mark. Leave it for a few minutes, and then throw your jeans in the wash.
