Whistleblowers Reveal John Kerry's Use Of Pseudonymous Government Email

John Kerry U.N.'s COP28 climate summit in Dubai

Former Secretary of State John Kerry is under scrutiny for allegedly using a pseudonymous government email address, [email protected], during his tenure in the Obama administration. Whistleblowers have informed Senators Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson about this revelation, prompting them to seek answers from current Secretary of State Antony Blinken regarding Kerry's compliance with federal records law.

The senators have been vocal about concerns related to the State Department's adherence to federal records laws since 2015, particularly in light of the investigations into Hillary Clinton's use of a non-government server for official business. They have also raised questions about President Biden's use of a non-government email during his time as vice president.

In their letter to Blinken, Grassley and Johnson highlighted allegations that Kerry and the State Department impeded FBI efforts to arrest individuals supporting Iranian financial activities aimed at developing weapons of mass destruction. They also questioned Kerry's handling of classified information in post-office communications with Iran's Foreign Minister.

The senators are demanding clarification on the usage of the [email protected] email address, requesting all records associated with it and inquiring about the State Department's procedures for storing and archiving Kerry's government email correspondence. They are particularly interested in whether the email address was used solely for official purposes and if it was employed in communications related to the Iran Nuclear Deal.
