After the New Orleans Saints Week 18 disappointing loss to the Carolina Panthers, they have a new entrant into the 1,000-yard receiving club in Chris Olave. Olave’s future has become a bright spot in the ugly season of football for the Saints.
Olave has become just the third rookie to reach that mark for the club, joining the two best receivers in team history Marques Colston and Michael Thomas. He is also the eleventh player in team history to reach that mark. Given that Olave is now the primary receiver in New Orleans, the opportunity should be there for him to move up the franchise record books every year.
