It may be the early days of Married At First Sight 2025 (MAFS) but that doesn’t mean the rumour mill isn’t running wild with whispers about which couples from this season’s experiment are still together and who have already called it quits.
So far, only two newlyweds have made it down the aisle and, well, both had their fair share of drama. Does this continue after the cameras stop rolling? Only time will tell, my friends.
Here’s who is rumoured to still be together after Married At First Sight 2025
Are Rhi Disljenkovic and Jeff Gobbels still together?
When Rhi Disljenkovic and Jeff Gobbels first saw each other, they were shocked. No, not because they were overcome with saucy chemistry, but because they straight-up knew each other. And to make things even spicier, they didn’t look jazzed to see each other either.
As it happens, the couple have dated. They even ran a bloody half marathon together! According to Rhi, they “both friendzoned each other”.
While it doesn’t sound too promising for the couple, at least we know that they found each other attractive and aligned on some levels.
Can they make it out of the friendzone? I can’t wait to find out.
Are Ashleigh Ackerman and Jake Luik still together?
As Ashleigh Ackerman sat in the back of a limo on the way to her wedding, she mused that maybe she’d “blow Cam and Jules out the water”. After watching Jake Luik lay eyes on her as she walked down the aisle, I have a feeling we might be onto something here.
Not only were they clearly into each other, but they seemed to have a similar sense of humour, quickly giggling together at the end of the aisle.
I am begging, nay pleading, to the MAFS gods that these two adorable dorks find love and stay together. After all, we always need at least one win every season!!!!
Are Awhina Rutene and Adrian Araouzou still together?
While it’s obvious that there’s some kind of physical attraction between Awhina Rutene and Adrian Araozou, I feel like that this pair will have a rocky journey on the show.
From his reaction to finding out she has a child to all the sneaky little teasers hinting at a possible rough patch, they’re either going to be that couple that come out as the underdogs OR they’re just gonna tank. Hopefully, they’re the underdogs because I’m rooting for my girl Awhina.
Are Billy Belcher and Sierah Swepstone still together?
I am manifesting under the new moon that Billy Belcher and Sierah Swepstone are still together. As soon as the former Bachelor star made it down the aisle, there was just this positive energy that I could feel through the screen.
While Sierah still has her walls up, I reckon Billy’s cheeky charm will easily help her ease on out and feed into their new-found connection.
Again, it’s too early to say yeah, they are, but in my mind they’re together 4eva!
Are Jamie Marinos and Dave Hand still together?
Jamie’s reaction to Dave at the altar has to be one of the best in the series’ 10-year history. The moment Jamie, 28, laid eyes on Dave,36, she genuinely screamed in delight. Thankfully, gentle giant Dave was clearly into her too, later describing her beautiful eyes and quirky spirit.
Does their obvious chemistry continue? We’ll have to wait and see.
Are Katie Johnson and Tim Gromie still together?
When Katie Johnson, 37, and Tim Gromie, 38, first saw each other at the altar, everything seemed to be very lovely. They were both equally nervous, giggly and sweet. Although Katie was beyond stoked with her match, things took a turn when Tim took a walk with one of the producers, admitting that he had “no attraction” to Katie. As a result, he felt like the experts had “wasted his time”.
Later on, Tim admits this to Katie and it’s clear that the information hurts her feelings deeply.
After the episode aired, a sneaky pap released images which showed Katie checking into her hotel after the first dinner party, to which she went alone. Does this prove that their relationship never got off the ground after the rocky start? I guess we’ll have to wait and see!
Are Lauren Hall and Eliot Donovan still together?
In short, probably not.
Things aren’t looking too promising for Lauren Hall,37, and Eliot Donovan, 35. Although things started out well with the couple connecting on their old school, tradwife-esque values, their relationship went downhill when Eliot realised that Lauren was two years older than him.
In the trailer for episode two, he is shown packing his bags and threatening to leave. Did he go through with the threat? We’ll have to find out.
However, to add more spice to this delicious rumour, after Eliot leaves, Lauren reportedly comes back to the experiment with a new match.
According to Yahoo! Lifestyle, Lauren is matched with a 43-year-old professional golfer named Clint Rice. Isn’t that the most golf-y name you’ve ever heard?
Are Carina Mirabile and Paul Antoine still together?
At first, Carina Mirabile, 31, and Paul Antoine, 30, seemed to be a perfect match. They’re both from big, European families and they both dreamed of leaving the experiment with “the one”. Although sparks seemed to be flying at the altar, we soon discover that Carina and Paul already know each other. In fact, they’ve already dated, with Paul ghosting Carina after their first date.
“He ghosted me. Knowing that we have literally crossed paths, not gonna lie, I’m just so disappointed,” Carina said, exasperated.
“Perth is so freaking small.”
While Carina was disappointed, Paul was elated.
“It feels like the universe is giving us, giving me, this second chance,” he told the producers.
So far, there’s not a whole lot of tea floating around the ether about Carina and Paul. While we hope they’re still together (we love love!!!!), we’ll just have to wait and see what happens as the season progresses.
