Winter Love Island fans rejoice: there's a new Instagram filter that tells you which contestant in the Cape Town villa you're most like!

While Instagram filters aren't anything new, the social media app has recently enabled users to create their own - which has resulted in a whole range of fun, creative modes.

Some of the most popular filters to arrive on the app in the last couple of months include the Disney filter, the 2020 predictions view and the filter that suggested your next vacation location.

One of the latest trending filters on the 'Gram tells you which Love Island contestant you are, based on your selfie.

For those desperate to find out whether they're more of a Shaugna or a Connagh with a 'G', here's a step-by-step guide of how to find the filter.

STEP 1: Ensure you have the latest version of Instagram on your phone, otherwise it's not gonna work

Visit the Apple App Store or Google Play Store on your iPhone or Android device and search for Instagram to double-check you're all up to date.

STEP 2: Look up @alloutbeautyuk on Instagram and scroll across to the filter section

The filter menu is sandwiched between the user's grid and their tagged photos.

STEP 3: Select the 'Which Love Island Contestant Are You' filter, and this image will appear:

You'll then be taken to this view (Instagram)

STEP 4: You can either 'Try It' or add the filter to your favourites, in order to access it via your in-app camera

STEP 5: Get your results and share with your followers - who are obvs dying to know the answer!
