Normality has well and truly resumed since the bank holiday weekend as people settle back into their routines and get used to longer evenings.
Many people will be trying to cut back on their spending to combat the rising cost of living, so we decided to look around to see which supermarkets have the best offers this week.
From essentials to treats there are some great bargains to be had this week throughout Irish stores, and with the weather set to bring a cold blast, it may be the perfect time to stock up on some essentials.

Here is a look at some of the best offers we found in Tesco, Dunnes Stores, Aldi and Lidl.
Tesco
As usual, there are some great savings to be had across Tesco stores nationwide this week.
Graham Norton Western Cape Sauvignon Blanc could be the perfect bottle of wine for Friday night dinner as it is reduced from €15 to just €10.
Stock up on your favourite coffee pods with Tassimo Kenco 100% Colombian 16 pack for any 3 for €12.
A dinner essential, Tesco offers a 500g bag of carrots for €0.49, with a 1kg of Tesco Irish Potatoes down from €1.59 to just €0.49.
A fantastic offer on seasonal fruit is also available, with the store offering any two packets from Tesco and Keeling's fruits for €5.50.
For other essentials, Tesco is doing a deal on Persil Non Biological Liquid Detergent 72 Washes - was €15 now €12 and Pantene Smooth & Sleek Shampoo - was €4.99 now €2.49.
Dunnes Stores
Dunnes offers of the week include some great value items.
A selection of chocolates is on offer, including Cadbury Heroes Chocolate Carton 290g and Cadbury Roses Chocolate Carton 290g were €6.50 now €3.25.
Lenor Fabric Conditioner 48 Washes was €5 now €3.50 and Lenor In-Wash Scent Booster 14, was €5 now €3.50 are also on offer.
Other deals include Cadbury Milk Tray Chocolate Box for just €4.99 and Ferrero Rocher Gift Box of Chocolate 24 Pieces for €6.
A variety of packs of 24 cans of soft drinks are also reduced from €13 to €8.
The store is also offering a whopping 20 per cent off all wines and champagnes.
Aldi
Aldi stores have a wide variety of special offers in place until Easter.
Those include hot cross bumps for just 89c, wines from €6.81, a 3kg Irish ham fillet for €10.99 and a whole salmon for €9.99.
Mark the occasions with a 2kg duck for just €6.99, and Irish Angus Striploin joint for €18.99 or a three pork Irish tenderloin roast for €12.99.
A whole host of sides are also on offer, with colcannon cauliflower cheese for €1.49, potato gratin for €1.99 and champ potato mash for 1.49.
Lidl
This week Lidl is offering some big brand saver deals.
Customers can make savings on well known essential items such as Danone Activia Yoghurt for €2.25, Cadbury Milk Tray for €4.99, Batchelor's Baked Beans 4 pack for €2.99, and Domino sauces for just €3.
Other deals include Magnum Classic Ice-Cream for €2.99, Kenco Rich Instant Coffee for just €4.99 and a 24 pack of 7up cans for 9.99.
There are also great offers on meats with Irish Pork Mince for €1.99, fresh diced chicken breast fillets for €3.19, Irish beef lean steak mince for 44.39 and 2 peppered Sirloin steaks for just €4.99.
