Every golfer dreams of making a hole-in-one at least once in their lifetime, relishing the opportunity to boast about the moment and cherish the memory of where and when the ace occurred, along with the ensuing celebrations.
While the odds of achieving a hole-in-one are high and can elude professional golfers throughout their career, Epson Tour graduate Jiwon Jeon accomplished the extraordinary by making not one, but three aces during the 2024 LPGA Tour season, and a total of four in her lifetime.

Republic of Korea native Jeon scored her first hole-in-one on the 143-yard 2nd hole during the Portland Classic with a perfectly struck 8-iron. Number two came at the Buick LPGA Shanghai, holing out from 171 yards with a 5-iron, before achieving a trio at The ANNIKA, when she aced the 177-yard par-3 with a 22 degree hybrid.
Jeon joins American Danielle Kang in this feat, who carded three holes-in-one during the 2014 season, including two in back-to-back weeks, to tie the record set by Tracy Kerdyk in 1991 and matched by Carlotta Sorenstam in 2002. Kang made the 17th ace of her life in 2024 at the FIR HILLS SERI PAK Championship.
While achieving three holes-in-one in a single season is rare, making two in one season is not as uncommon as you might think. Korea’s In Gee Chun accomplished the extraordinary by making two aces during the 2023 LPGA Tour season, both at Major championships (Chevron Championship and Women’s US Open), while Japan's Nasa Hataoka scored two in 2018 and 2021.
In 2024, Americans Jennifer Song and Auston Kim scored two aces, which contributed to a total of 29 hole-in-ones during the LPGA season. Multiple holes-in-one were carded at eight tournaments, with the Maybank Championship leading the way at five.
