Where was 'Made in Chelsea: Corsica' filmed? A guide to the show's filming locations

Where was Made in Chelsea Corsica filmed?

Where was Made in Chelsea: Corsica filmed? All of that drama *just* might be worth it for those gorgeous accommodations.

The beloved reality TV series is known for following its socialites and influencers abroad, having landed in New York City, Bali and Mallorca in summers past. This year, the crew ventured to a coveted tropical getaway and the cast definitely didn't pack light.

"It's summer, and the Chelsea gang are off to live the island life in the sunny climes of Corsica. But the drama doesn't take a holiday," Channel 4 jokingly released in a statement.

Let's get to know the place responsible for those picture-perfect views (and yes, the drama, too).

Where was 'Made in Chelsea: Corsica' filmed?

As the title suggests, the London gang headed to Corsica for a summer of fun breakups and breakdowns. But where is Corsica, exactly?

For the uninitiated, the small island is sandwiched between Italy and France. Though it's been owned by the French since the late 1700s, people at times mistake it for an Italian hotspot. Still, Corsica is heavily influenced by Italian culture, and it is in striking distance to Sardinia, so the mix-up is understandable. Essentially, it's the best of both worlds.

What can you expect in Corsica? Naturally, the crew sets up shop in a massive villa in Porto-Vecchio, but that's just a small part of the island's charm. You'll be particularly enamored by the rolling mountains, nearly 200 pristine beaches, and the aqua-blue water in the Mediterranean. It's the perfect spot to soak up the sunshine, as it boasts rustic, al fresco dining spots and beach clubs. *Looks up flights*

Where did the 'Made in Chelsea' cast venture in Corsica?

But of course, you can catch the crew beachside, enjoying a night out at one of Corsica's delightful dining establishments, or taking in some sun while enjoying the villa's infinity pool. Not too shabby, huh?

If you're wondering where to travel this year, you'll feel seriously inspired by some of the Corsica hotspots below. But when the FOMO sets in, remind yourself that you didn't endure the headache of the franchise's messiest season IRL.

Le Tiki chez Marco Restaurant

B'52 Bonifacio Beer Garden

Da Mare by Sea Lounge

Plage Palombaggia Corse

In addition to being the most beautiful filming location, the season is also the most chaotic, according to MIC regular David Templar.

"I’ve done the show for six years and that is saying a lot. I have never witnessed so much drama and people just lost their inhibitions," he revealed on his Playtime Podcast

Plus, it's a ground-breaking season to boot, as it featured the first three-way male kiss in UK TV history.

"The channel has endeavored to really be on our side in this storyline," Joel Mignot told MailOnline. "If other people have negative complaints, then I don't care because Channel 4 have worked with us tirelessly to portray this story in the best possible light."

Have you been inspired to make a trip to Corsica? We'd certainly be up for it...but we'll leave the headaches at home thank you very much
