The Fortnite Find the Force Quests are underway and one of the more esoteric missions requires you to make like Obi Wan Kenobi at the start of Attack of the Clones and mix the power of the force with your own detective instincts and find some Kinetic ore.
The Star Wars-themed Find the Force Quests arrived alongside the new Fortnite Update 24.30 and involve players tackling some Star Wars-inspired quests for – shocker – some Star Wars goodies. For instance, if you're after the DC-15 Blaster then you'll need to know where to fine Republic Chests.
The Fortnite event will stick around for a while before wrapping up on Tuesday, May 23 with new batches of quests releasing along the way, including the 'Begun, the Clone Wars Have' section which launches on Sunday, May 7.
One of the more esoteric missions includes launching Kinetic Ore with a Star Wars weapon. Now, the wording of that seems to imply that you can do it with any Star Wars weapon, but it's only the Force abilities that can complete the mission, so you'll need to find one of the Jedi or Sith masters who appear on the map at random.

How to launch Kinetic Ore in Fortnite
So, once you've picked up a Force ability from either Darth Maul, Obi Wan Kenobi, or Anakin Skywalker, you'll need to make your way over to Shattered Slabs, which resides on the west side of the map.
A word of warning: this area is usually a super popular spot for players so congregate so be prepared to get into a fight or five when you head here. Once you've arrived you'll notice giant glowing purple rocks all over the place; as luck would have it these are the ores you're looking for .
Once you've found an ore (don't worry about picking the perfect one, it works for any size of ore), equip your lightsaber. Tthen simply hold the aim button (left trigger / right mouse button) then hit fire (right trigger / left mouse button) and you should charge up your Force ability and get blasting.
Repeat this a second time (keeping in mind your Force ability will need to recharge) and that's you sorted! The mission is complete, 200 Galactic Rep is yours and you're one step closer to unlocking the Darth Maul skin.
