Derry City and Strabane District Council have said warm banks are available around the district for people to use during the cold weather.
Warm banks are places where people are unable to afford warmth and food in the colder months of the year.
Residents across Co Derry and Derry City are facing a difficult winter as energy bills and the cost of living soar for many families living in the council area.

That's why the local authority agreed in October that council-owned community centres, civic buildings and leisure facilities could be used as a "safe warm place" for those who need them most.
Derry and Strabane District Council held an emergency meeting earlier this year to plan for the growing crisis, including the proposed introduction of warm hubs to help residents.
In a statement, a council spokesperson said: "These facilities are currently available to anyone wishing to drop into or remain in after participating at an event or activity.
"In addition, a scoping exercise is being undertaken to determine the costings of providing additional activities at these facilities and will be presented to Elected Members for approval."
