Where to buy RTX 5070 Ti — live updates and stock checker

Nvidia rtx 50 series.
Find stock in your region

After a huge sell-out of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 and RTX 5080, the RTX 5070 Ti is now on sale, and stock is very slim.

In the U.S., stock of this GPU disappeared fast. All that is left now is some rather overpriced options on Amazon. If you're desperate for one, they're there, but do your wallet a favor and wait for new stock.

Meanwhile, the picture is a lot rosier in the U.K. Don't get me wrong, the prices are higher than that £729 RRP, but this is for overclocked versions of the RTX 5070 Ti and you can find them in stock at Overclockers and CCL.

So if you missed the initial chaos of buying one, there's a still a chance! We're updating this live blog with stock info as we find it!

LIVE: LATEST UPDATES

One hour to go...

Happy RTX 5070 Ti Day! To kick off, I'm going to take a look around retailers and ask the key question: how much more expensive than MSRP will these GPUs be?

I've got fingers crossed that we've got at least a couple options sticking at that $749 cost. But stick around and we'll find out. Alongside this, I'll be sharing my top tips to make sure you secure one today at 9am ET / 6am PT / 2pm GMT.

Price check — there will be a $749 RTX 5070 Ti available to buy!

We've been anxiously waiting to find out whether the RTX 5070 Ti cards will be way more expensive than the $749 MSRP at launch! And the truth is while there are a lot of GPUs going for $800/$900, there is luckily a couple options keeping to that lowest cost.

One such example at Best Buy is the Asus Prime GPU. This will sell out fast, so don't forget the steps to secure one that I told you in earlier posts.

Looks like you'll be paying a minimum of £799 for RTX 5070 Ti in UK

Currys just updated its pricing to reflect how much you'll actually paying for the GPUs in the UK. And spoiler alert: there will be a premium atop the £729 RRP.

The cheapest RTX 5070 Ti is coming from Palit and costs £799, and prices are going up to an eye watering £999 for the Gigabyte Aorus Master.

Personally, the absolute maximum I'd pay for a 5070 Ti would be £799, so if you miss out on this one, I'd recommend waiting because you're really starting to eat into that price-to-performance ratio by that point.

Other retailers, we're not sure about yet. Fingers crossed we can find cheaper than this!

Not much longer now...

We're just 30 minutes away from RTX 5070 Ti GPUs becoming available to buy! Kick off is at 6 a.m. PT / 9 a.m. ET / 2 p.m. GMT, so be sure to pick the model you're after, create an account and pre-save your payment details, stay alert by cliking any "notify me" options and refresh the page a couple of minutes before it goes live often.

It doesn't hurt to spread your chances, either. If these GPUs are hard to get, try multiple retailers at once until you've secured your graphics card. Hopefully, they'll stick to that $749 price sticker.

Is Multi-Frame Generation in DLSS 4 as good as the hype?

DLSS 4 is Nvidia's latest batch of upscaling tech, and while Nvidia GeForce RTX 40-seris and even 30-series cards are getting updated to support it, there's a DLSS 4 feature that's only supported on the new 50-series cards: Multi-Frame Generation.

This is an advanced version DLSS's existing Frame Generation tech, and it generates 3x as many AI-generated frames as Frame Generation does now. That means that when it's operating at peak efficiency, you're seeing 3 AI-generated frames for every single "real" frame your PC generates.

Personally I find Frame Generation a little risky to enable because I notice sometimes it causes graphical issues in game, and even when it doesn't it adds to input latency by adding AI-generated frames in with the real ones. But I can't argue with the results of our RTX 5090 testing, which reveal that games like Cyberpunk 2077 can get massive framerate boosts when you enable Multi-Frame Generation.

T-minus 10 minutes...

Are you nervous? I'm getting nervous too. Stock is usually in small numbers and the websites do fail to load often. I'll keep sending you to pages that work when things do get going, so keep it locked on here and don't forget the top tips!

Tip #1: Start refreshing a few minutes before

The first tip comes from the last time I had to join a rush to buy a GPU. Given the timing of this launch seems particularly strict, then the queueing system should start at 9am ET / 6am PT / 2pm GMT on the dot.

If that's the case, it pays to start refreshing the product page of your chosen GPU a few minutes before — that way you can hopefully be one of the first to see that "coming soon" button change to "add to cart."

Tip #2: Create an account and pre-save your payment details

All to often I see a lot of people fall at the last hurdle of buying a high-demand product because they didn't set up a store account before.

Whether it's Newegg, Best Buy or anyone else, take the time now to setup an account and pre-fill in all your payment and address details. That way, everything is saved and you can just click through all of this — instead of trying to feverishly type it out while the stock drains away.

BREAKING: Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti is official on-sale

Time to flex those clicking fingers. The RTX 5070 Ti is now available to buy!

One thing we did see during the RTX 5090 and 5080 chaos is that in the masses of people flocking to buy one, websites will fail to load with the sheer amount of people. So I’ll keep on top of whenever websites are working with stock and keep you posted live, so stick with me here.

In the meantime, try all these links and good luck!

Will AMD's answer to the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti cost the same?

If you can't get a hold of an Nvidia RTX 50-series GPU, then you might have a better chance with AMD's Radeon 9070 GPUs. The question is, how much will these graphics cards cost?

In my experience, AMD has historically competed against Nvidia by focusing on value over performance, but leaked screenshots purportedly captured by data miners show Amazon listings for Radeon RX 9070 and 9070 XT GPUs in the $650-$850 range.

If those prices are accurate, AMD's answer to the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti could be just as expensive, which would give me serious pause if I were building a new gaming PC this year.

These Radeon 9070 graphics cards are set to arrive this March, along with the more affordable RTX 5070 GPUs. Hopefully, they'll be easier to obtain than Nvidia's offerings!

Nvidia is making it easier for fans to buy an RTX 5090 and RTX 5080

Nvidia is now offering a way for long-time GeForce fans to grab its sought-after graphics cards. Nvidia introduced Verified Priority Access, a program that gives a limited number of verified GeForce users the chance to grab an RTX 5090 or RTX 5080 Founders Edition (FE) from the company itself.

This helps counter scalpers and stock-outs to a few lucky users and means these desktop GPUs should be available at Nvidia's official pricing: starting at $1,999 for an RTX 5090 and $999 for an RTX 5080.

Currently, Verified Priority Access is only available for those in the U.S., and users will need to have created an Nvidia account on or before January 30, 2025 at 6 a.m. PT (9 a.m. ET /2 p.m. GMT). Essentially, anyone who joined GeForce after this date (when the RTX 50-series GPUs launched) won't be given a chance to join.

While Nvidia hasn't stated how many users will be selected, it says those who are will be notified by email and invited to buy either an RTX 5090 or RTX 5080 FE. Invites are set to be coming next week. To join, simply fill out Nvidia's form and you'll have a better chance at finally grabbing these powerful desktop GPUs.

The RTX 50-series GPU to beat

While the RTX 5070 Ti isn't exactly cheap at $749, that's still more affordable than the $999 RTX 5080 and even pricier $1,999 RTX 5090. Thanks to its price and specs, this will likely be the RTX 50-series to get for most people... when stock is available, of course.

The $549 might end up the winner since it will be the cheapest RTX 5070 released in the first quarter of 2025. However, we still think the RTX 5070 Ti has a chance to be most gamers' choice for their next GPU. That is unless they're fans of AMD, which has announced it will reveal its RX 9000 series cards on February 28.

Nvidia promises that RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 cards will soon be easier to get. Hopefully, the same will be true for RTX 5070 Ti cards. Let's just hope the company can make enough as they're sure to be a hot commodity for the foreseeable future.

A lot of people are going to be building new gaming PCs this year

Thinking about building your own 50-series gaming PC this year?

I wish I was joining you, but I'm holding out for another few years before I rebuild my rig. But our own Matthew Murray recently built a new 50-series system to test the 5090, and you can read all about it (and see what the process looks like) in his guide to how to build a PC with RTX 5090!

Don't forget about pre-built gaming PCs!

During the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 launch, we found that one of the best ways to get a hold of these graphics cards was to check out pre-built gaming PCs. Of course, they came with a steep price tag compared to just a GPU itself (sometimes), but they also boasted the latest specs, making them a great option for those after a full-blown gaming PC upgrade.

If RTX 5070 Ti GPUs become hard to get, you may want to put some pre-built gaming PCs on your radar, too. Head over to Newegg to find several RTX 5070 Ti gaming PCs listed, including this MSI Aegis RS2 AI gaming PC with an RTX 5070 Ti for $2,299.

That's the lowest price we're seeing so far. If you're looking to get a whole new gaming PC anyway, this may be a good shout, but seeing as an RTX 5070 Ti is set from $749, those who already have a rig set up will want to keep their eyes out for the soon-to-launch GPU.

The RTX 5070 Ti reviews are in — opinions are mixed

RTX 5070 Ti reviewer impressions fall largely in line with what we saw with our RTX 5090 testing and RTX 5080 reviews.

Jarred Walton over at Tom's Hardware called the RTX 5070 Ti a "proper high-end GPU" — provided you can find it at that $749 MSRP. On the face of it in raw rendering testing, the improvements between the 5070 Ti and 4070 Ti are minimal. Linus Tech Tips identified an up to 13% bump in performance between generations.

This comes down to the fact the manufacturing process is the same 4nm chipset, but with updated GDDR7 video memory and a higher wattage — the equivalent of adding a turbocharger to a car.

But as Linus Tech Tips found out in his video review, all the DLSS 4 and neural rendering tech is capable of pumping out Cyberpunk 2077 at 4K with Ultra Ray Tracing settings at around 160 FPS.

So in short, really good if you're not too fussy about AI rendering. But hopefully, you can get one at that $749 price... or get one at all!

Remember, the big new thing you're paying for is Multi Frame Gen

As you're hunting for RTX 50-series deals, remember: you're going to get DLSS 4 features on older RTX 40-series cards too, but there's one feature unique to the 50-series: Multi Frame Generation.

I'm nervous that this tech will make games look or run oddly, but I can't argue with the results of our RTX 5090 testing, which clearly shows that games which support it (like Cyberpunk 2077) can get massive framerate boosts when you enable Multi-Frame Generation.

Stay away from eBay

Seriously, it's a den of thieves and scalpers right now. We're constantly checking for new stock here at TG, and every time I look at eBay I'm amazed at how badly people are trying to fleece folks hunting for RTX 50-series cards.

Again, the RTX 5090 has an MSRP of $1,999 while the RTX 5080 is $999, and the RTX 5070 Ti's MSRP is $749. If you're paying significantly more than these prices for a new card, you're getting ripped off by ne'er-do-wells who think you won't have the patience to wait until you can actually buy one of these cards at a reasonable price.

Prove 'em wrong!

Now the ball's in AMD's court

The first day of RTX 5070 Ti sales is winding down, so we'll be winding down this blog for a little bit to rest and recoup before getting back to scouring sales in the morning.

Now that all of Nvidia's announced RTX 50-series cards have been launched save the RTX 5070 (that's coming next month), the next big thing in GPU news is coming February 28 when AMD unveils its new RX 9000 graphics cards.

These GPUs will be AMD's answer to Nvidia's 50-series when they launch in March, and based on what we've heard so far AMD plans to comete against DLSS 4 with a new version of AMD's Fidelity Super Resolution (FSR) that improves its frame generation and AI upscaling capabilities.

Will AMD have a compelling competitor to these new 50-series cards? We'll find out next Friday at 8 AM ET!

Do not buy the RTX 5070 Ti from Amazon right now

So I have a good news/bad news situation here. The good news is that you can get RTX 5070 Ti on Amazon in the U.S. Wahoo!

The bad news is that it's almost $2,000... That's daylight robbery and a clear sign of scalping. Do not buy.
