Where Titans rank statistically heading into Week 17

The Tennessee Titans are just two games away from mercifully putting this largely forgettable 2023 campaign to bed.

Tennessee enters Week 17 with a dismal 5-10 record and nothing to play for outside of pride. They’ve also put the fanbase in a conflicted conundrum, as half the fanbase is hoping the team loses out to secure a premium draft pick, while the other half is too prideful to go that route.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but one thing we can all agree on is how this has been a miserable and disappointing season to be a Titans fan.

According to Team Rankings, the offense ranks in the bottom 10 in nearly every major statistical category with the exception of the run game — and even that unit has taken a step back compared to years prior.

On the other side of the ball, Tennessee’s defense hasn’t been nearly as bad as the offense, but it’s definitely not the elite unit many of us expected it to be coming into the season.

The Titans hover right around the league average in nearly every notable defensive area. Not to mention, they’re now without several key players, including arguably the best player on the team, Jeffery Simmons.

Scroll down below to find out where the Titans rank on both sides of the ball in several key areas heading into the final two games.
