Where the Eagles landed in a ranking of NFL ticket price increases over the past 15 years

With new or renovated stadiums popping up all across the NFL over the past decade or two, it shouldn’t be a shock that fans are hit the hardest by increased ticket prices.

Star quarterbacks run the league and as ownership groups get more creative with increasing their overall revenue, raising the ticket prices has always been the simplest form of adding profits to the yearly margins.

The Action Network recently looked at ticket price increases over the past 15 years from all 32 NFL teams, and the Eagles landed just outside the top 10, at No. 12 overall.

Since the 2006 season, Philadelphia’s ticket prices have increased from $69 dollars to $127.06, an 84% markup, putting the Eagles in the middle of the pack.

The Raiders, Seahawks, Packers, 49ers, and Texans were the top 5 teams in ticket price increases, while the Jets, Chargers, Bengals, Commanders, and Patriots have the lowest percentage of increase across the league.
