A film of Where The Crawdads Sing, the best-selling murder mystery novel by Delia Owens, is out this summer.
Distributed by Sony, the movie is co-produced by a familiar face in Hollywood, Reese Witherspoon. The hugely successful 2018 novel Where The Crawdads Sing has reportedly sold more than 12 million copies.
Reese chose the novel for her book club back in September 2018 and went on to gain the rights to develop it into a movie. Fans of the novel will undoubtedly be eager to see this film adaptation.

Rotten Tomatoes describes the plot of Where The Crawdads Sing as: “Abandoned as a girl, Kya raised herself in the dangerous marshlands of North Carolina.
"For years, rumours of the marsh girl haunted Barkley Cove, isolating the sharp and resilient Kya from her community. Drawn to two young men from town, she opens herself to a new and startling world."

Is there a trailer for Where the Crawdads Sing?
Where the Crawdads sings has two official trailers, with the first being released in March 2022. The latest trailer was released two months later on May 17 and gives a real detailed insight into the dramatic storyline viewers can expect from the film.
It takes viewers on the journey of Kya, before and after she enters jail.
