Baywatch brought viewers plenty of beach-based action, relationship drama and slow-motion running.
But where are the cast now more than 30 years on?
The show, which followed Mitch Buchannon and his team of lifeguards as they patrolled a crowded beach, started in 1989.
Since then, its stars have gone on to worldwide fame or shunned the limelight to become a Hollywood recluse, posed for sexy naked snaps, and one has even become a Countess.
Here's what the show's most famous faces have been getting up to in the last three decades...
David Hasselhoff
The Hoff, who played leading man Mitch, was one of the show's biggest names.
Now 68, he's still on our screens as much as ever.
The former Knight Rider star stuck with Baywatch until the penultimate series.
He's also been a judge on Britain's Got Talent, had his own show Hoff The Record and starred in a string of movies, including the 2017 Baywatch film starring Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.
David has also appeared in the Sharknado movies, Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 2 and The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie.
His latest movie, Kung Fury 2, is currently in post-production.
Pamela Anderson
Pamela was another huge star to come out of Baywatch.
She played lifeguard CJ Parker from the second series and carried on for five before leaving in 1997.
Now 53, she's as famous as she ever was.
The blonde bombshell is well known for her many appearances in Playboy magazine, holding the record for the most covers ever.
She famously starred in a sex tape alongside her now-ex Tommy Lee and has starred in a string of flop movies, including Barb Wire, Scary Movie 3 and Blonde and Blonder.
Pamela now does lots of work as an animal rights activist and is a strict vegan.
Throughout her career, she's also been a contestant on Dancing With The Stars, Dancing On Ice, and released four autobiographies and two novels.
She also reprised her Baywatch character in the 2017 movie.
Jeremy Jackson
Jeremy played Mitch's son Hobie Buchannon from the age of 10 before leaving the show years later after battling an addiction to steroids.
Now 40, he's made headlines recently after it emerged his estranged ex-wife Loni Willison had been living on the streets of Los Angeles after being missing for two years.
The former model, 37, was seen smoking a cigarette while rifling through bins.
The pair had married in 2012 before their relationship crumbled in 2014.
She told The Sun she had rejected offers of help, saying: "I haven't spoken to Jeremy. I don't want to speak to my friends, I'm doing just fine. I don't want anyone to help me."
She added: "I can live on my own. I've got everything I need right here. Nobody really cares about me and I don’t want to see them, they don’t want to see me.
"I haven’t got a cell phone. I've got food and I've got a place to sleep. I get money here and there and there’s food in the bins and near the stores. There’s lots here."
She had disappeared in 2018 after some friends tried to check her into rehab, something she did not want to do.
She had developed an addiction to crystal meth and battled with her mental health.
Jeremy was involved in a sex tape scandal and attempted a TV comeback on the 2015 series of Celebrity Big Brother, but was ejected from the house after opening model Chloe Goodman's dressing gown.
In 2017, he was jailed for nine months after stabbing a woman while trying to steal a car.
Donna D'Errico
Blonde beauty Donna, who starred as Donna Marco, has been proving that she's as stunning as ever at 52.
The actress looked basically half her age when she posted a naked snap of herself recently.
Donna posed up smeared from the neck down in red paint to raise awareness for victims of human trafficking and support the Painted Princess Project, which is all about supporting charitable causes for a better world.
Like Pamela, Donna has also posed for Playboy and has continued acting.
She currently has two movies - 116 MacDougal and Escape from Area 51 - in production, and has appeared in Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Austin Powers in Goldmember and Sabrina, the Teenage Witch.
Yasmine Bleeth
Yasmine, who played Caroline Holden, was one of the most famous faces on TV at one point.
But the star quit Hollywood 17 years ago and has become a recluse since.
Now 52, she was recently seen in public for the first time in years and looked very different to her Baywatch days.
Yasmine struggled with substance abuse problems and ended up being fired from Baywatch by producers over cocaine use.
She was only meant to make a guest appearance on the show in the first place but proved so popular that she was kept on for four seasons.
Her addiction issues saw her blacklisted by film and TV studios and she last appeared on screen in 2003 TV movie Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding.
However, she could be due for a comeback as according to her IMDB page, she's been announced as one of the stars of upcoming horror movie Beautiful Evil.
Carmen Electra
Carmen was only in Baywatch for one season, back in 1997, but it was all she needed.
The model, 48, appeared in a string of spoof movies, like Scary Movie, Date Movie and Meet The Spartans following her role as Lani McKenzie.
But she's just as famous for her high profile relationships, having dated Simon Cowell and Red Hot Chili Peppers' Dave Navarro. She was also briefly married to basketball star Dennis Rodman.
She last appeared on screen in 2018 in TV show Alone Together.
AJ Langer
AJ, who portrayed Caroline Larkin, in the show, is now the Countess of Devon.
The actress, 46, married the 19th Earl of Devon, Charles Courtenay, in 2004.
AJ also starred in Beverly Hills, 90210 and The Wonder Years before giving up acting for her life with the Earl.
The couple moved to Powderham Castle with their two children 2015.
In her spare time, AJ raises awareness and money for treatment of fibromyalgia, a condition she herself has.
