Christine Quinn
Throughout the first five seasons of Selling Sunset, Christine Quinn undeniably left a lasting impression with her fashion choices, fiery conflicts, and razor-sharp wit. Fans of the show were disappointed to learn that Christine would not feature in season six. However, her absence from Selling Sunset hasn't hindered her from making significant strides in her career.
She has since set up her own real estate brokerage with her husband, Christian Dumontet. Their brainchild, RealOpen, revolutionises property transactions by offering clients the option to purchase real estate using cryptocurrency.
Christine has also made her way into the fashion industry as she has walked the runway for Balenciaga alongside Kim Kardashion and Nicole Kidman, while also hinting that she would like to start acting.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Christine said: “I’m not saying I am Lady Gaga, but the fact that she can do these really big roles and pull it off, whether it’s American Horror Story or A Star Is Born , I want to do things like that.”
Vanessa Villea
Vanessa made her first appearance in season four of Selling Sunset where she swapped roles from acting to real estate. However, fans were shocked when she did not make an appearance in season six, with her absence going unaddressed by her fellow cast mates.
In an exclusive interview with People in May 2023, Vanessa revealed that she had officially parted ways with The Oppenheim Group for good. She said she had joined The Agency, an esteemed real estate firm led by Mauricio Umansky, husband of Kyle Richards, and is featured on Netflix's Buying Beverly Hills.
Vanessa tied the knot with Nick Hardy in September 2022 in a picturesque ceremony held at The Fairmont Grand Del Mar in San Diego. Aside from her real estate career, she has kept bust launching Wave of Love, a range of butterfly-inspired jewellery and accessories.
Maya Vander
In May 2022, Maya confirmed she would not be returning for season six by sharing the decision on her Instagram stories. She shared her acknowledgment of the difficulty of stepping away from the series. She said: "Being part of such a successful hit is absolutely amazing and I am so grateful for it!”
Maya revealed that her choice was influenced by personal reasons, including the heartbreaking loss of a baby at 38 weeks. Prioritising her family, she felt compelled to take time away from the spotlight.
Before the fifth season of Selling Sunset, Maya and her family had already moved to Miami. In June 2022, she announced the establishment of the Maya Vander Group, which joined forces with the renowned real estate giant Compass.
Maya has also been expanding her family. In May 2023, she shared the delightful news of the arrival of her baby girl, Emma Reign. Keeping her pregnancy journey relatively private on social media, she expressed her relief and overwhelming happiness, stating: "This was a long 9 months as I kept my pregnancy as quiet as possible from social media. I gave birth a few days ago, and words cannot express my sense of relief and happiness!"
