Where Ohio State commits landed on On3’s updated 2024 On300 with NIL values

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and that is no different for Ohio State’s 2024 recruiting class.

Multiple services updated their prospect rankings, and On3 has followed suit after the summer camp season is over. The newest outlet to have a national pull, it ranks players much differently than other sites do.

It is not bad to get another breakdown of a prospect, so with an updated On300 ranking, some prospects aren’t as high or as low as we have seen before. Find out below where each Ohio State 2024 commit landed on its list as the season draws closer.

No. 2 - Wide receiver Jeremiah Smith

Thoughts

This makes sense for Smith, he’s one of the top players in the country regardless of position. His name, image and likeness value is through the roof at $459,000.

No. 5 - Defensive tackle Justin Scott

Thoughts

A top-five prospect, Scott is their second-best defensive lineman of the class. His NIL value is a bit lower than Smith’s, $366,000.

No. 12 - Wide receiver Mylan Graham

Thoughts

Another five-star for the Buckeyes? Graham with Smith is the best receiver duo in the nation. His NIL value ($294,000) is lower than the two above him.

No. 43 - Quarterback Air Noland

Thoughts

Noland is the fourth-ranked quarterback and just outside of five-star range. His NIL value ($536,000) is the highest of the committed Buckeyes.

No. 62 - Cornerback Bryce West

Thoughts

West checks in as the sixth-best corner in the country. His NIL value ($176,000) is significantly lower than his teammates.

No. 69 - Running back Jordan Lyle

Thoughts

It’s a bit of a surprise to see Lyle this high. He’s a great prospect but generally considered the lower of the two Buckeye commits at the position. His NIL value is $89,000.

No. 133 - Running back James Peoples

Thoughts

Swap Lyle with Peoples and you have it correct. Both are good to great prospects but the Texan is better in my eyes. His NIL value is higher as well: $125,000.

No. 158 - Safety Jaylen McClain

Thoughts

One of the newest Ohio State commits, McClain is ranked right where he should be. His NIL value is $67,000.

No. 172 - Linebacker Garrett Stover

Thoughts

Stover is a tweener and On3 ranks him as a linebacker. He very well could play safety but he’s still a very solid prospect. Stover’s NIL value is $98,000.
