The Premier League table is still at its embryonic stage this season.
Manchester City lead the way with 17 points after just seven games and have yet to taste defeat. In fact, you have to go way back to February for the last time Pep Guardiola's side tasted defeat in the competition.
As for Manchester United, they have recovered superbly from a slow start. After losing the first two games of the Erik ten Hag era, United have racked up four successive victories. Whilst the table at present has both Manchester clubs in the higher echelons, what about over a longer period? One football fan has put together the ultimate Premier League table with results stretching back a full decade to give the top 20 teams in terms of points accrued.

It will come as little surprise to see City top the charts with a mammoth 948 points. That has been achieved over a 424-game period, with their average points-per-game at 2.23.
Second in the combined table is Liverpool, albeit with 112 points fewer over the last decade. Jurgen Klopp's side have recorded a points-per-game figure of 1.97 in the past decade. Third spot goes to Chelsea, although United are just six points behind them in fourth. Tottenham, Arsenal and Everton complete the top seven. Of the top 20, six sides are currently in the Championship.
