Vladimir Putin is reportedly furious in his "hideout" lair in a mountain range in Russia.
Top security sources have said the Russian leader is unhappy with how the war on Ukraine is going and had hoped it would all be over in four days or less.
According to European parliament member Riho Terras, Mr Putin was holed up in his “lair in the Urals”, and brought Russian oligarchs with him so they couldn’t flee the country.
A security specialist who hails from West Cork has predicated that Russia President Vladimir Putin will be assassinated by his own people.
Dr Andy Scollick, who is a European Defence consultant, has previously worked in defence analysis as well as advising and was working across sectors in Ukraine as well as other European nations from 2014 to 2019 - CorkBeo reports.
The consultant has been following the current situation with Russia closely, and today made a "hypothesis" that Putin would be killed by his own people "within the next seven days".
He said: "Prediction or, rather, hypothesis: Putin will be assassinated by his own people within the next 7 days."
The move came after Putin warned other countries not to intervene with the Ukraine invasion, saying they could face “consequences they have never seen”.
