Where is Vladimir Putin at the moment? All you need to know as Russian leader expects new child

Vladimir Putin's Russian war machine killed six people and injured another 35 in a rocket attack on an apartment block in Ukraine on Saturday.

The residence in Donetsk collapsed after it was hit by a Russian missile, the region's governor has said.

Governor Pavlo Kyrylenko said on Telegram that the strike, which killed at least six people, took place on Saturday evening in the town of Chasiv Yar.

The brutal attack is the latest in Putin's relentless full scale invasion of Russia's neighbouring country.

But where is the Kremlin leader himself?

Grand Kremlin Palace

The 69-year-old usually resides in the Grand Kremlin Palace, located in western Moscow.

The Kremlin Palace has been the official residence of Russia's President since 1911.

The lavish building is a truly grand structure and stands tall in the Cathedral Square of Moscow within the Kremlin complex.

The palace is surrounded by 1.5 miles of walls that are 21 feet thick for security purposes, and the complex takes in over 69 acres of land.

Putin, who is notoriously paranoid about security, has the estate guarded by an elite military called the Presidential Regiment.

However, the president has several other properties that he could be hiding out in as fears grow of an assassination attempt.

Secret Black Sea Palace

Some reports suggest Putin is hiding out in his secret Black Sea home.

Putin has never admitted to having any involvement with the property, but frequent visits suggest otherwise.

The palace caused some controversy after allies of Alexei Navalny, the jailed Russian opposition leader, blew the whistle on the corruption scheme.

The home is thought to have various lavish facilities, including a casino, helipad, church and theatre.

Inside the property, it is claimed there is a huge master bedroom and another dozen guest bedrooms. Anyone staying there can also use a Las Vegas-style casino, which is said to be complete with a lap-dancing bar.

Other claims state there is an indoor go-kart track and a swim bar.

The secret house is located near the coastal town of Gelendzhik and is surrounded by a no-fly zone.

Alexei Navalny made a documentary on the palace, which was posted on YouTube and has gathered over 122 million views.

In the film, he suggests Putin uses the palace as his own property and says the compound is worth over €1 billion - a claim the Russian president denies.

The Kremlin defended the accusations by claiming the home is a business venture by various businessmen.

Bocharov Ruchey in Sochi

Putin has several other residences all over Russia, one of which is Bocharov Ruchey.

The home is located in Sochi and is popularly referred to as 'dacha Putin'.

Like the others, it is an enormous stone residence that sprawls across 40 acres of land.

The Kremlin leader has hosted several world leaders at this plush mansion, reportedly costing almost $1 billion.

The home has become Putin's official summer residence.
