Where is Tim Campbell on The Apprentice tonight and who is Mike Soutar?

Tim Campbell has spent weeks by Lord Alan Sugar's side on The Apprentice.

The BBC show returned to screens back in early January its 16th series with the famous businessman looking for his latest business partner.

All those weeks ago there were sixteen brand new entrepreneurs battling it out in the boardroom to win £250,000 worth of investment into their business.

But now just six candidates remain with weeks to go until the final of the reality competition.

This week's episode - on Thursday, March 10 - will see the remaining candidates try their best to impress as they reach the latter stages of the show with Lord Sugar tasking them to create and brand a new baby food.

But Tim will not be casting his watchful eye over one of the teams this week, however, Baroness Karren Brady won't be flying solo.

The 44-year-old, who won the first series of the show back in 2005 earning himself a £100,000-a-year job working with Lord Sugar, was self-isolating at the time filming for the episode took place.

A source told RadioTimes.com : "Tim had been in close contact with someone who had tested positive for COVID, and although he remained negative, as per the guidance at the time of filming, Tim isolated with Mike Soutar stepping in for the episode."

Fans of The Apprentice viewers will recognise Mike as he has been a part of the much-anticipated interview episodes of the show since 2010.

As for his business credits, Mike is known for co-founding Shortlist Media, which includes the magazine, Stylist, in 2018 and has also worked as the managing director of Kiss FM, and a board director for the publisher TI Media which produces popular titles such as Woman & Home and What's On TV.

He also got the job as chief executive at the Evening Standard in 2019 but he stepped down in May 2020 after six months in the role after 'reflecting on his own ambitions and plans.'
