We all know that Nottinghamshire is a fantastic place to live. From its leafy, rural villages through to bustling city centre living, there really is something for everyone.
Lifestyle website Muddy Stilettos ranked Edwinstowe, near Ollerton, as the county's best place to live in its annual list in October. The website describes Edwinstowe by saying: "If it's trees and fresh air you're after, Edwinstowe is a characterful village right on the edge of Sherwood Forest that's perfect for families who want a taste of the good life."
Beeston also ranked highly on the list, saying it had "pretty Victorian terrace houses". Muddy Stilettos also said it had a "family-friendly" feel but with a "cool vibe from a strong student population".
