The city centre offers everything you could need from such a place with shops, bars and restaurants sprawled across the area, while heading to the outskirts of the region towards the boroughs of Oldham and Tameside puts you within touching distance of the Peak District.
Or maybe it's something a little more 'in the middle' that you're looking for, with areas like Didsbury and Chorlton providing a space away from the city centre but containing their own unique and colourful presence.
