Where is Susanna Reid today and why isn't she on GMB?

Those tuning in to Good Morning Britain on Monday, April 4 might be wondering where Susanna Reid is. The presenter usually hosts the show Monday through to Thursday alongside Richard Madeley.

But the 51-year-old has been replaced on the breakfast show with Kate Garraway stepping in to co-host alongside Richard for the first instalment of the week. GMB announced the news on Twitter on Sunday.

In a statement, the programme said: "Watch GMB tomorrow for the latest news around the world and much more. Join Richard Madeley and Kate Garraway from 6am on ITV."

Susanna's absence comes as ITV daytime shows get a shake-up for the Easter holidays. Ranvir Singh is replacing Lorraine on her 9am breakfast show, while This Morning has also made some changes.

ITV has announced that Alison Hammond, Dermot O'Leary, Vernon Kay and Josie Gibson will be stepping in for Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield over the Easter break. Alison and Dermot will front the daytime favourite all week from Monday, April 4, while Josie and Vernon will host during the following week.
