Holly Willoughby has announced she won't be returning to This Morning screens as planned on Monday, April 17. The presenter was due to make a comeback to the ITV1 daytime programme following the Easter break alongside Phillip Schofield.
However, ahead of her return, the 42-year-old has issued a health update. Taking to Instagram, the television host explained she is suffering from shingles and will be absent while she recovers. For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
Holly will be replaced by Rochelle Humes. Sharing the news on its official social media accounts on Sunday night, This Morning said: "Tomorrow at 10am on ITV1 and STV, it’s welcome back after the Easter holidays to Phillip and get better soon to Holly who’s off ill for a few days.

"Phillip and Rochelle have a packed show with Gyles and Camilla, John Torode, Josie, Dr Sara and a very special live announcement from Alison Hammond around midday!"

Where is Holly Willoughby?
Holly is off sick. Sharing a health update with her 8.2 million Instagram followers over the weekend, the mum-of-three said: "Hi... Just to let you know I may be away for the rest of the week as I have Shingles.
"I'll be back as soon as I'm better. Huge love. Holly xxx."
Who is presenting This Morning?
Phillip Schofield is back after a three week hiatus and he will present alongside Rochelle Humes. The Saturdays singer and presenter will be filling in for Holly while she is away.
Sharing a snap from the This Morning studios on Monday, April 17, Rochelle said: "Looking adter my girl Holly Willoughby's seat this week. Get well soon..."
What is shingles?
The NHS website says that shingles is an infection that causes a painful rash and is caused by the same virus as chickenpox. The first signs of shingles can be a tingling or painful feeling in an area of skin, or a headache or feeling generally unwell. A rash will appear a few days later.
It can take up to four weeks for the rash to heal. The website says: "Your skin can be painful for weeks after the rash has gone, but it usually gets better over time."
