The Holiday is a Channel 5 drama series that has a stunning location and a thrilling plot. It tells the story of a partner who is on a family vacation when she discovers infidelity - with major consequences.
As four families gather for the holiday, the dark secret results in murder. Based on the 2019 bestselling book by TM Logan the drama series stars The Drowning's Jill Halfpenny as Kate.
Kate discovers her husband Sean, played by Owen McDonnell is cheating with her best friend, who is also on the trip. The secrets and lies catch up with the family and one character ends up dead.

The four-part series is available from March 2 at 9pm on Channel 5 and each episode will be released each evening across the week. Each episode will be available to watch on My5 after the final show has aired on Friday.
Where is Channel 5 drama The Holiday filmed?
The betrayal drama was filmed on the island of Malta and showcases the blue sea and skies of its Mediterranean setting. However filming took place while the island was in lockdown so the actors couldn't take full advantage of the lovely location.
