Holby City is coming to an end tonight after 23 years of serving the nation with their griping medical dramas.
Last year the BBC announced that they were axing the show, which left fans devastated.
At the time of the axing, the BBC said: "We are incredibly proud of Holby City but it’s with great sadness that we are announcing that after 23 years, the show will end on screen in March of next year.
"We sometimes have to make difficult decisions to make room for new opportunities and as part of the BBC's commitment to make more programmes across the UK, we have taken the difficult decision to bring the show to a close in order to reshape the BBC's drama slate to better reflect, represent and serve all parts of the country.
"Holby has been a stalwart with audiences, delighting millions of viewers each week and winning hundreds of awards with a compelling mix of cutting edge medical stories and explosive personal stories.
"We look forward to working with the team over the coming months to ensure that when it ends, Holby goes out on a high."
But where are the old Holby City stars now? From Jeremy Edwards to Hugh Quarshie here at The Mirror we're taking a trip down memory lane.
Hugh Anthony Quarshie
Hugh Antony Quarshie is a Ghanaian-born British actor who is best known for playing Ric Griffin in the popular medical drama that comes to a close tonight.
He portrayed the role for 19 years and was the longest-serving cast member until he confirmed his departure in October 2020 – which left fans completely heartbroken.
Ric departed in Series 22, with his departure episode being aired in November 2020.
As well as starring in Holby City he's also popped up in Doctor Who and Star Wars.
Hugh has a big presence on Twitter and his bio states: "Actor. Director. Writer. African, British, European. More to come."
At the start of the month a fan tweeted Hugh: "If @HughQuarshie hadn't come in as Ric Griffin when he did, I wouldn't have become a long term @BBCHolbyCity fan."
Adding: "I really disliked Anton Meyer and found his dark demeanour to be something hard to watch. Ric however had a warmth and a good sense of humanity which Meyer did not."
Hugh then replied: "Thank you, but don’t tell George Irving…"
He can often be found supporting important causes or sharing witty tweets on his account.
Tina Ellen Hobley
Tina is best known for her long-running role as Chrissie Williams.

She now presents Sunday afternoons on Smooth Radio and often documents this on her Instagram page.
In February 2016 she appeared on The Jump but was forced to quit when she dislocated her shoulder, broke her arm and ruptured her anterior cruciate ligament.

The National Television Awards long-listed him for best newcomer for his role in Holby City.
After three years he decided to leave the BBC show, which in turn led to the programme killing off his character.
Producers planned a terminal cancer storyline that focused on the importance of skin checks to detect melanoma.
As well as starring in Holby he's also popped up in Game of Thrones as Waymar Royce, I Hate Suzie as Young Phil, and Restless as a Shop Assistant.

In 2008 he appeared as a police inspector named Fraser in Emmerdale, and a year later he took part in Dancing On Ice where he was partnered with Darya Nucci.
As well as a fruitful TV career, he has also starred in various stage shows and has appeared in several pantomimes.
In October 2019, he appeared on The X Factor: Celebrity, with Strictly pro Brendan Cole, but was made fun of after his performance.
Jeremy was not impressed by the judges’ comments after they criticised the duo's singing abilities.
Backstage the former Holby star said: "Don’t. I’m serious, don’t. That was horrible. I don’t want fake bulls**t! They were really mean, that was upsetting.
"You’re just like, wwell we’re trying, we’re off the TV in England and people know us and they love us'."
In 2020 for Hollyoaks' 25th anniversary he reprised his role of Kurt for a few weeks.
