Emmerdale viewers welcomed newcomer Connor to the Dales this week - but it was by no means actor Danny Cunningham's first appearance in soapland.
Connor cut a menacing figure as he headed to the scrapyard to demand money from Paul, threatening to expose his gambling habit unless his money was returned.
While the tense scenes kept viewers speculating if Mandy Dingle would ever find out Paul's secret, others were distracted by Connor, who is played by Danny Cunningham.
Actor Danny made his debut on the ITV serial but Ememrdale is not the first soap he has appeared in.
Danny previously appeared in Coronation Street as Jimmy Sykes.
He starred as Linda Baldwin's twin brother Jimmy from October 2000 to November 2001.
Linda was the fourth wife of Mike Baldwin, whose secret affair with his son Mark was uncovered on their wedding day.
Viewers might also remember Danny for his roles in Holby City, Waterloo Road and Last Tango in Halifax.
He also played Liam in children's TV drama Grange Hill between 1995 and 1997.
The actor looks set to be sticking around the Dales for a while though as Paul's lies begin to catch up with him.
Next week Vinnny threatens to tell Mandy the truth about his gambling but when the duo arrive at the pub, the Dingle launches into an epic public proposal.
After performing a rendition of a musical number from Grease, Mandy gets down on one knee and pops the question to an awkward Paul.
Paul feels he's left with no choice but to say 'Yes', leaving Vinny disgusted.
Vinny becomes even more infuriated and accuses Paul of lying about his epilepsy.
The confrontation leads Vinny to open up about Paul's gambling to Liv - only for Paul to show up and interrupt them.
After the drama, Paul eventually breaks down and comes clean to Mandy.
Outraged, Mandy boots him out of the salon and packs his belongings into bags and taking them to a pawn shop - leaving her partner humilated.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
