Though there’s a good chance the Los Angeles Rams will be even better next season than they were in 2023, their path back to the playoffs won’t be easy. With a second-place schedule, they’ll face a number of quality opponents in 2024.
While we don’t yet know when each game will be played, and there will certainly be travel advantages (and disadvantages) upon seeing the complete schedule, we can estimate how difficult each team’s schedule will be next season based on the 2023 records of their future opponents.
For the Rams, they’ll face the 12th-hardest schedule in the league, with their opponents combining to go 146-143 this past season. They’ll play 10 games against teams that finished above .500 and face seven teams that made the playoffs.
Here’s a look at where the Rams’ schedule ranks among the league’s toughest.

The Seahawks and Cardinals will each face the seventh-easiest schedules in the NFL based on 2023 records, while the 49ers’ strength of schedule is the same as the Rams’ (.505) despite finishing first in the division.
In addition to seven playoff teams, the Rams will also face the Vikings and Jets, who didn’t make the playoffs this season but are expected to bounce back in 2024 with a cleaner bill of health at quarterback.
The Lions, Packers, Eagles, Bills and Dolphins are among the other tough opponents on Los Angeles’ 2024 schedule.
