Michigan State basketball appears destined for a high-end seed in the upcoming NCAA Tournament.
The Spartans are one of the hottest teams in the country right now, so it’s no surprise to see them receiving a high seed in the latest batch of Bracketology from ESPN’s Joe Lunardi. Michigan State is now listed as a No. 3 seed in the East Region. The Spartans are projected to play No. 14 seed Jacksonville in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
Michigan State is 17-2 overall and 8-0 in Big Ten play. The Spartans have won 12 straight games, dating back to the Maui Invitational in November.
Lunardi has a total of nine Big Ten teams in his updated bracket projection.
