The 2024 NBA All-Star Game is about six weeks away, and fans are eager to know which players will make the trip to Indianapolis.
For the first time in several years, the NBA will revert to its old format for its midseason classic. The game will pit the Western Conference against the Eastern Conference, and the format will consist of four 12-minute quarters instead of an untimed fourth quarter and target score.
That means voting will matter as far as what the starting lineups are for both teams.
On Thursday, the first returns from All-Star balloting were announced by the league. The Los Angeles Lakers’ LeBron James leads all West players with over two million votes, while superstar Anthony Davis is fourth among frontcourt players with nearly one million votes.

In the Eastern Conference, Giannis Antetokounmpo leads the way in voting. In fact, he has received the most All-Star votes of any player in the league.
